U drill / Indexable drill

The U-drill bits from Sharpfine have received high praise from users.

According to customer requirements, we can produce U-drill bits with a length-to-diameter ratio of up to 5 times or even larger. Currently, the largest diameter we have customized for customers is 90mm.

Feature

The cutting edge is formed by the overlap of two indexable carbide inserts. The inner insert edge passes through
the center, while the rotating diameter of the outer insert edge’s tip equals the diameter of the drilled hole.
The spiral groove provides a greater chip discharge capacity.
The U drill is equipped with an internal cooling system design. The coolant flows to the cutting site through internal
cooling holes, and effective cooling helps reduce cutting temperatures and remove chips, extending the lifespan of the inserts.

U drill’s Insert UM-PUD25 with PUC-G (SiCrTiAlN) new coating Suitable for processing various general materials, the friction coefficient is smaller, and the surface quality will be better.
